Considerable Saving If You Buy Guano

After several years of very low fertiliser prices, suddenly we are now looking at extremely high prices. Fortunately, Soil Management Systems have been able to contain the costs of our SMS Guano to the rise in shipping costs only. This has enabled a considerable saving of around $300 per ton over the alternative MAP/DAP prices into the new season.

A popular blend is our SMS Guano with a smaller percentage of Premium Grade Ammonium Sulphate. Customize blends can be offered from our warehouses offering farmers fertilisers to match their requirements while containing costs.

The Yorke Peninsula Field Days was extremely busy for us as farmers visited our site to discuss fertiliser strategies for next season. Many placed their orders while there hoping to beat any more price rises. These Field Days were so important as it let us have a good discussions with our customers about their Soils and Cropping Programs. We were able to explain pricing for our Products and how much we can save our customers in 2022.

It was a very well-organized Field Day event, and the organizers are to be congratulated for such a great event in these difficult times.

I would encourage farmers to secure their fertiliser requirements with us early so that we may be sure to have supplies in time. Our ship arrives in January with 30% more than we have ever imported in the past. With the bookings and enquiries so far, we may have to organize another shipment but given shipping delays at present that will have to be done sooner than normal.
