Mineral Rich Guano Fertiliser Competitively Priced

Soil Management Systems provides Australian Farmers with Mineral Rich Seabird Guano Fertiliser and many other products at competitive prices.

Seabird Guano Phosphorus Fertiliser

As we always say, every year in farming is different. With BOM trying to scare us with a Super El-Nino, June turned out pretty good although below average since. The Upper North of SA could do with a good consolidating rain right now.

We have very good stocks of Seabird Guano in store for the spring market nearly upon us now.  Last year it was far too wet to even get on the land for spring applications. Hopefully this year is not the opposite but somewhere in between. Mineral rich Seabird Guano is a unique fertiliser with high Phosphorus content with a multitude of all the Trace Elements which are important for plant health and resilience, also great for encouraging microbial activity and diversity in soils. Blending as needed with extra Nitrogen, Sulphur or Potassium to suit individual requirements is very popular with customers.  Seabird Guano is a deliberate description we use as SMS has worked closely with our Indonesian suppliers who are doing a great job to produce a consistent physical quality product of 2-4mm that keeps its integrity which every farmer with an airseeder understands.

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting up with our Premium Grade Ammonium Sulphate suppliers at a great Thai restaurant.  At Soil Management Systems we like to form long-term relationships with our suppliers and customers and work on a win/win for both in these volatile times.

World Nitrogen prices came down a long way from their peak this year but over last 6 weeks have spiked up considerably. Who knows where prices will be for next season but working closely with our suppliers we are determined to be as competitive as possible. Premium Grade Ammonium Sulphate is popular in our blends with SMS Guano.  We can do blends  from 90/10 to 50/50 with the most popular being a 70/30 blend. This offers a full spectrum of nutrients with some starter Nitrogen.  If you would like to discuss blending ratios, please contact our office and ask to speak with Brenton.  Visit our information page on Blending He will be more than happy to discuss blending ideas.  Australia produces very little of the Premium Grade hence the reliance on imports.
