Guano Fertiliser at Lucindale SE Field Days
We displayed our Guano Fertiliser at the Lucindale Field Days last week. It was great to catch up with clients and to meet new people. It was a very busy and rewarding time.
Our SMS Guano fertiliser continues to attract interest as an alternative to traditional fertilising. With a high analysis of Phosphorus which is not prone to leaching or tying up in the soil and full of all the trace and micronutrients, it is also very biologically attractive in the soil helping to build soil organic carbon.
We enjoy going to the Field Days as it gives us a chance to catch up with clients to see how their cropping season and pasture management programs are progressing. The Lucindale South East Field Days is a annual event that attracts farmers and grazers from Victoria and South Australia. Many customers asked about our comprehensive Soil and Plant Tissue Testing. Many took away kits and we are looking forward to speaking with these clients about their Soil Health. Visit the website for the Lucindale SE Field Days.
Custom blends were also of interest to match nutrient needs according to soil test results. One of the more common blends is with Ammonium Sulphate as an alternative to MAP/DAP with a lower price.
Our Managing Director, Brenton Byerlee was also able to meet up with Matthew Evans, The Gourmet Farmer on SBS. Matthew is a farmer, food writer and TV Chef. He was at the SE Field Days speaking about his passion; open fair accountable food and farming systems. Matthew shares our interest in Soil Health. It is nice to know there are farmers/chefs out there that share our philosophy of Soil Health.
With good stocks of Guano Fertiliser on hand we would be happy to discuss your crop and pasture needs. Please visit our Products page to see our current products and if you would like to discuss blending or blending rates of the products, please feel free to contact our office.
